This film is surely wonderful if you like modern dance. Some amazing performances were re-created with the Pina Bausch dance company after she passed away. Im not really into dance, but I found this movie fascinating. Dances were staged in theater spaces as well as in interesting locations in and around the companys hometown of Wuppertal.

Pina is een documentaire gewijd aan de balletvoorstellingen die Pina Bausch in elkaar zette. Je moet wel in dat wereldje zitten om het echt te kunnen begrijpen en goed te kunnen waarderen. Ik had wat gemengde gevoelens achteraf, want het ziet er weliswaar fysiek zwaar en knap uit. Aan de andere kant zie ik het geniale ook weer niet.
